TRAINING CHAMPIONS FOR LIFE

Hallmark Track Club was founded in 1987 by Newton Braziel as a summer outlet for athletes he coached through the Hallmark Football and Cheer programs. What began as a small, family-centered opportunity for youth quickly grew as the club’s success, discipline, and competitive spirit attracted athletes from other football programs and communities across the area.

In its early years, Hallmark Track Club competed in respected programs such as the Hershey’s Track & Field Games, the ARCO Jesse Owens Games, and the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF). As championships were won and records were broken, participation steadily increased and the club established itself as a competitive force in youth track and field.

By 1992, Hallmark earned its first USATF National Championship in the Midget Boys 4x100-meter relay. Growth continued throughout the decade, and by 1997 the club had surpassed 100 athletes, expanded its coaching staff, and gained widespread respect within the track and field community. In 1999, that same championship Midget Boys relay team—now competing in the Young Men’s division—set a historic milestone by running the fastest 4x100-meter relay time ever recorded at 39.42 seconds.

Today, Hallmark Track Club continues its legacy of excellence. The program has earned 20 USATF Relay National Championships, produced over 100 National Medalists, and qualified more than 500 athletes to national competitions. With over 200 athletes competing in every age division for both boys and girls, the club remains one of the most established youth track programs in the region.

A defining strength of Hallmark Track Club is its deep sense of legacy and community. Many of our coaches are former Hallmark athletes who went on to compete at the collegiate level and have returned to give back to the organization that helped shape them. Additionally, several of our current athletes are the children of former Hallmark members, continuing a proud tradition across generations.

Our staff includes 15 dedicated coaches and 40 USATF-certified officials, all committed to developing athletes not only for success on the track, but also for growth in character, discipline, and leadership.
